SS Great Britain was the world's first iron hulled, screw propeller-driven, steam-powered passenger liner. A unique design to stop deterioration of the ship's hull was required. The iron hull is surrounded at waterline by a glass plate. Munters dehumidify the lower hull below the glass plate and the inside of the ship to stabilize against corrosion. The dry dock unit has glazed viewing panels to allow visitors to see the inside.

Yorkshire company Bare Earth are bringing a touch of South Africa to the Yorkshire Dales. For centuries sun-drying meat was the primary means of preserving food. Biltong can now be enjoyed as a premium quality snack, reflecting today's demand for natural, wholesome convenience foods. Bare Earth have taken traditional African recipes and cure their Biltong in purpose-built drying rooms in the North Yorkshire village of Melmerby.

By controlling relative humidity (RH) at the Troy (CL) UK site in St Helens - which produces contact lenses - environmental control specialist Munters have been able to maintain consistent conditions.

An integral part of a nuclear power station is the gas circulator. In order to keep the power station productive for as long as possible duplicate circulators are kept on site - one working and one in storage. In order to prevent corrosion and deterioration of these parts, they need to be stored in a controlled environment provided by Munters.
