From December 2006 we are merged together with Munters. Now is the time for us to indicate the belonging to the Munters Group. Jointly we are a competent provider to the industry.
SIAL Spa has got a leading position on the European market in manufacturing a wide range of heaters, both stationary and portable spot heaters and more recently also a producer of evaporative coolers. The company was founded in 1973. SIAL is recognized as a very strong brand all over Europe.

Since December 2006 we are Munters and belong to the Munters Group. Munters is the world leader in humidity control with products for dehumidification, humidification and air cooling and services for water and fire damage restoration. Manufacturing and sales are carried out via the Group's own companies in 30 countries. The Group has approximately 3,600 employees and net sales of SEK 5,712 millions.
SIAL S.p.A. was founded in 1981 as a producer of high pressure cleaners from a merger between SIAL and Car Car and started a period of rapid growth in size of the plant and in market share. 
Growth increased decisively in 1983 when the management realised it was necessary to vary production, creating (thanks to a technical know how) a new branch producing space heaters. A 77% increase in sales lead to new motivation and in a short time SIAL became European market leader in this field.
Achieving the CE certification for all products (pressure cleaners and space heaters) along with the safety certification demonstrated quality as a key element.
To further underline the transparency of the company, it should be pointed out that the balance sheet is certified by DELOITTE & TOUCHE SPA. Over the years the commercial structure of the company has been in continuous expansion and the production system has become more specialised, refined and technological, with emphasis on quality. SIAL quality system is certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2000.
