The SP100 static pressure controller from Munters provides a reliable and easy to use means of accurately operating air inlets in livestock housing. If cold outside air enters a building through air inlets at a too low speed, it will fall to the bottom of the building, directly onto the animals housed inside. To prevent this, the air speed needs to be well regulated.
The air speed through the air inlets is dependant on the static pressure difference between the inside and outside of the building. The size of the static pressure difference can be regulated by varying the amount that the air inlet is opened.
