Two awards acknowledge Munters achievement as a ‘Best Company’

In recognition of its commitment and pro-active approach to the workplace and the everyday lives of its employees, Munters, the Huntingdon-based global property restoration and humidity specialist, has received two prestigious UK awards.  Based solely on employee feedback gathered through independent research by Best Companies, the awards acknowledge the contributions made by everyone in making Munters a great place to work.

The first accolade has been awarded by the Sunday Times Top 100 UK Companies (published March 11, 2007), where Munters gained 66th position in its first ever submission for the award.  Now in its seventh year, the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For Awards are compiled by Best Companies and based on employee surveys focussing on corporate excellence in the workplace.

Amongst the survey findings Munters achieved a top 20 score for its shared sense of pride in the company, with employees believing they can make a valuable contribution to its success, and was placed in the top 25 with a 78% positive score from employees saying that they love working for the company.

The management team was praised for its hands-on approach to staff well-being and development with staff believing they speak honestly and openly with them and as such they trust their judgement. The company also scored highly for its opportunities for personal growth.

The second award is a two star ‘Outstanding’ accreditation from Best Companies, the workplace engagement specialists.  As one of only 273 UK companies to be recognised, Munters has been accredited for demonstrating best working practices including people management, staff development and training.

Alasdair Phillips, Managing Director at Munters said:  “We are extremely honoured to receive these awards based on positive employee feedback. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to making Munters a great and flourishing place to work and we will continue our dedication to working together to develop and enhance best working practices at Munters.”
