Carl Munters is the original inventor of the Desiccant Rotor. Many other names have been given to this invention: Sorption rotor, sorption wheel, desiccant rotor, desiccant wheel, honeycomb rotor, honeycomb wheel, drying wheel, drying rotor, etc. etc.
Although being copied by others, Munters still is way ahead in further development and optimalisation of this ingenious invention.
