Munters air inlet supplies fresh air to livestock structures

Munters now launches IL air inlets for an adequate mixing process of the air entering a livestock structure, with the air already inside it. IL Air inlet is designed tested and perfected by Munters.

During warmer periods the emphasis of livestock ventilation shifts towards heat removal and cooling of the animals. At such conditions the air entering the structure can be directed down towards the animals thereby allowing heat removal of their skins through a wind chill process. Munters IL Air inlet can be adjusted precisely to ensure that the air reaches the animals.

During cold periods, the ventilation scenario is more critical, as the supply of fresh air must be done without causing a cold draft over the animals. The only way of performing this ventilation effectively is by directing the cold fresh air along the ceiling of the structure, thereby allowing it to mix thoroughly with the warmer air inside before it descends into the animal zone.

The IL Air inlets are designed to perform perfect ventilation of both summer and winter conditions to maintain a healthy environment for the animals without disrupting their normal behaviour. The air inlet is manufactured in UV stabilized polystyrene and the main door has an insulated core to prevent condensation on the inside. The inlet has an integrated eyelet for supporting of cabling.
