The new fan series is based on more than 30 years of experience gained in the design and manufacture of fans for use in cutting-edge agricultural applications.
The TU chimney extraction fan range is designed to perform reliably under the strenuous conditions associated with the ventilation of closed livestock structures. During cold periods a low rate of air extraction from livestock structures is required.
How it works
Variability of the ventilation rate and prevention of drafts over the animals are essentials in order to ensure animal well-being; demands that are taken care of by Euroemme TU fan series. Roof mounted fans offer the possibility of extracting stale air from the structure at the same time as it serves as a back-up ventilation system in case of power failure. The butterfly damper of the TU fan along with air inlets, can be opened under battery power, thereby creating a natural ventilation process which prevents suffocation of the animals.
Performance tested and verified by Danish agricultural institute
The aerodynamic performance of the TU fans have been optimized by experienced design engineers and all the performance data has been tested and verified by the Danish National Institute of Agricultural Engineers. High quality polyethylene is used in the construction of the main body of the fan, which is a highly resistant material to climate extremes and solar radiation. All other components of the fans are made in corrosion resistant polymers or stainless steel, making the TU fans ideally suited for use in corrosive conditions. An additional benefit is the low noise levels generated by the TU fans; which does not cause any annoyance to the animals or affect their normal behavior.
